Yes! Easy Weight Loss Is Possible

Posted on September 28th, 2009 in easy weight loss by Mima Mavington

As many of us know it is fairly easy to put weight on, for some of us it may just be a few extra pounds or for others carrying excess weight may be an ongoing problem but what ever your situation it’s good to know that easy weight loss is perfectly possible.

The first thing we need to get out of your mind is that losing weight easily does not involve any kind of dieting or leaping into a leotard and joining the local gym.

All that is needed is to start with a few small lifestyle changes and then when your ready just add a couple more and later 1 or 2 more and within no time at all you will have made a whole host of changes to the way you eat, drink and view food that the pounds will quite naturally start to fall off.

Here’s how it works, to begin with you need to take an honest look at what you eat each day.

Are you eating fast food for one or more of your meals a day and how many times in a week? Do you tend to snack on sugary foods like candy bars in between meals? And just how many sugary soda drinks are you having a week? Once you realise how many of these types of things you’re consuming each week then you have a great place to start.

Now don’t panic I’m not going to suggest that you suddenly cut all of these things out of your daily routine and start swallowing fresh fruit and veg by the truck load because even if you tried to do it this way you wouldn’t be able to maintain it for long, just relax we want to do this the easy way.

The simple way to achieve easy weight loss is to start by choosing to replace one unhealthy food or drink by another healthier option, for example you might choose to drink one less bottle of sugary soda and replace it with a bottle of still water, do this for a couple of days until you get used to it and then perhaps you might replace a candy bar with a piece of fruit, a few vegetable sticks, or perhaps a muesli or fibre bar.

Give yourself a little bit of time to get used to each replacement you make perhaps a couple of days between each item you replace, this gives your mind and body a chance to accept the changes easily and naturally.

The more of these changes you make the more your confidence will grow that  you can do this and then when your ready you can move onto replacing all or part of one of your daily meals with something healthier, if you are not sure what to replace a particular meal with then just type something like “healthy breakfasts, lunches, or recipes” into one of the search engines to get some ideas of what you might like or perhaps you could ask a naturally thin friend what they choose at meal times.

Try experimenting with healthy foods and drinks that you think you might like and see how you get on, some things you will stick with and others you’ll drop and that’s ok, just have fun with trying some new things out and see what you like.

If you follow this process of gradually changing your daily eating habits from the junk you previously ate to your new healthier choices then you should find that your mind and body will offer little resistance because you are giving it time to get used to the changes rather than using a sudden shock approach, and as you continue to find more new healthier things that you like, then your weight will begin to reduce naturally and easily.

As you go about making these changes it is a good idea to forget about jumping on the scales for a while, just put them away in a cupboard somewhere or if you really have trouble resisting the urge to weigh yourself daily or weekly then give the scales to a friend or relative to look after then you will be giving your body a chance to do what it was designed to if you let it.

When you start to lose weight and get thinner and the goodness from the healthier foods you now eat has had time to build up within you it is more than likely that you are going to be feeling much more energetic, so why not use some of this newly found energy to start speeding your weight loss up and making it even easier?

It’s really simple, all you have to do is the same thing you did with your eating habits except that now you just look for simple ways that you can become more active each day here’s a few suggestions……

Take stairs instead of elevators
Walk or cycle instead of using the car or public transport
If you like swimming visit the local pool more often
Walk the family dog if you have one or join a friend walking their dog
If the weather is good then enjoy it whilst doing some gardening or offer to garden for an elderly neighbour

By just making these few, simple changes on a day to day basis can help you achieve easy weight loss. Sure it’s a small amount of weight at the start but as each day passes and you gradually add in more and more changes to what you eat and drink as well as becoming increasingly physically active these small amounts of weight loss can all add up to you becoming the naturally slim person you want to be, and all with little effort and no struggle.

The Slim Girl’s Book of Secrets

Posted on September 5th, 2009 in The Slim Girl's Book of Secrets by Mima Mavington
Hi Girls, Mima here and I thought you might like to know a little about this book which is included in the Slim Girls Box.

Written by Ali Campbell in his own natural style it is easy to read and follow and is worded in a special way to help you get the very best results you can with your weight loss.

I suppose the first thing to say is that this book has nothing to do with diets!

The book is divided into the following 5 sections … Slim, Fit, Healthy, Active and Stylish … and the idea is that you start off by just reading in your normal way from the introduction towards the Slim section but as you do so Ali is talking to you through the words on the page in a way that is actually already setting your subconscious mind up to start making the all important changes inside of you that are necessary to help you start seeing the new you.

If you think of The Slim Girls Book Of Secrets as being your guide to how things work and in what order you should do things as opposed to the way you would read a novel then you’ll be on the right track.

Here’s a few of my favourites from the book…

•    How to consciously make changes that your subconscious can’t fail to act on.

•    A technique to make sure you’re not ’shooting yourself in the foot’…before you even start!

•    A really simple technique to stop you feeling hungry…starting at your next meal.

•    How to ’switch off’ emotional hunger

•    An easy way to make yourself believe you can finally be thin

•    The amazing new Thought Field Therapy technique that will eliminate cravings

•    How to artificially stimulate the ‘feel good’ chemicals in your brain

•    Why taking your time to order desert can have a huge impact on your weight loss when eating out!

•    How to lose weight by sitting on the couch

•    How to let go of the struggle

Now for those of us that are not big readers finding out that the book has 220 pages there are over 55,000 words could be a bit of putting but you’ll be amazed at how easily you will find it as you only need to take it one step at a time and it’s full of help and encouragement to help you get the body you want, I certainly discovered a few things that surprised me and I’m sure you will too, just click below and pop over to the slim girls sight and check it out for yourself.
